Mike, I recently had a relatively small gift card balance on my Uber account, and when the AMEX platinum credits came a few months ago, I noticed that the AMEX credits were used before the gift card balance. I’ve never had a referral credit, but I think that Uber deducts from whatever will expire first

Does anyone know if Uber will use gift cards before or after the free ride credits you get from referring people? For instance if you have a $20 free ride referral credit and a $10 GC balance and the ride cost $26.50 will it use your free ride credit first and then the GC balance, leaving you with a GC balance of $3.50? If so I may pick a couple of these up to cover when my rides go over my free ride credit.

FYI the Uber/Dr. Pepper code submission is still working (as of yesterday) if you didn’t get your full 10 $5 codes. Also, the codes are good until the end of June.

I placed the order of 2 $100 uber GCs around 8pm Pacific Time and received order processing email. The order is still processing at the moment. Will see if it gets canceled or if it gets honored.

Got the order confirmation with GC Codes 4.5 hours after placing the order.
