The Offer
- Purchase a $100 Lowe’s physical gift card for $90 shipped from staples.com. Limit 1.
The Fine Print
- Offer expires 7/25/15 or while supplies last
Our Verdict
This deal is nice for a Lowe’s purchase, but isn’t particularly useful for reselling purposes since it can only be resold for around 82.5%. Staples seems to be offering weekly gift card deals now, with iTunes and Nordstrom the past few weeks and now with Lowe’s.
A few notes:
- While some have success with the portal tracking on e-gift card purchases from staples.com, it appears likely that this won’t work for physical gift card purchases (or course, it doesn’t hurt to try!)
- Be sure to use a credit card which earns bonus points at an office supply store for the purchase
- You can’t use a Staples gift card to purchase a gift card at staples.com (you can use an Amex gift card, however)
- There is another deal going on of $50 off $200 at staples.com with Visa Checkout, but it won’t work on the purchase of gift cards so it can’t be combined with this deal

Thanks for the heads up! We have purchased these a few times. We shop a lot at Lowes because we also get a 10% military discount! Plus they will price match anyone on the same stuff!
They always give me a weird look when I pull out the paper gift certs and they can’t believe that Staples sells the gift cards for less than face value! But it works for our family!!
