Our Verdict

Honestly this is a huge waste of time, the first survey they give you will be for 30 minutes in length and that’s after completing other surveys required to join and find surveys for your eligible for. This seems like inception survey nightmare. It might be worth it if you need some points to keep your points from expiring, but even then it’s a huge time sink. Be prepared to waste 45 minutes of your time with this.

Need to keep my points from expiring. can I make dummy booking using points and then cancel to extend expiry date? Is that still working? or will they reverse the expiry date when I cancel the booking

IHG has offers for buying points, just received email from them. I believe they previously had one promo offer for getting 50% more? Login required.

Get up to an 80% bonus when you purchase points from now until September 9, 2016.
Buy between 1,000 – 9,000 points and earn a 40% Bonus.
Buy between 10,000 – 60,000 points and earn an 80% Bonus.

Posted quickly, and the survey took about 40 minutes…. if you’re doing it in your downtime arguably worth it.

Yes they do. Direct from website: All points will expire after 12 months if there’s no account activity.

I did this promo before I saw the DoC article. I agree with DoC. Huge waste of time! I got 10 points after 30 minutes. Don’t do it.

would be a waste unless you need points to round out a stay or need the elite qualifying points as these type of points do count for elite, i had used the uber bonus for the 2,000 points & $20 and when the points credited it counted as elite qualifying

I ended up having to tell them I was a plumber making $100k a year with a pet dog, gerbil, and alligator to finally get a survey. The data they collect from this survey will be worth less than what they paid and I’m happy about that.

OK then halfway through it said, “this is not the right survey for you” and they gave me 5 points instead of 1000. Screw those guys.
