$21 off your Verizon Bill with Isis Serve

If you have a Serve card loaded onto your Isis Wallet you can get $21 off your Verizon bill or any instore Verizon purchase.  This deal can be used in conjunction with the Targeted Amex offer for even more savings. If you haven’t signed up for Isis Wallet with Serve you can learn more about it here.

The Offer

image

  • Get a $20 statement credit with any purchase of $40 or more using your Serve card in your Isis Wallet. Offer ends 9/30/14. Only valid for one credit.

Here is what to do

  • Go into you local Verizon Wireless store and ask to make a payment of $40 on your cell phone bill. When I did this, the employees tried to steer me towards the automated Kiosk. That won’t get you the credit since the kiosk doesn’t have a contact less payment terminal. Let them know you want to pay at the register so you can use your Isis wallet.
  • In a couple days you will receive two credits to your Serve account. $20 from Verizon, and the standard $1 back on any Serve Isis purchase. That’s a combined savings of $21!
  • While the offer is limited to one credit per Serve card, if you have other Serve|Isis cards for family members they could each make $40 payments on the same account. And if you have already paid your bill for the month, you can always prepay next month. In my experience they are very tolerant of pre-payment and broken up payments.

Fine Print

  • Purchase $40 or more using your Serve card in your Isis wallet before 9/30/14 at a Verizon Wireless location.
  • Limit one credit per Serve card.

Our Verdict

A penny saved is a penny earned, especially when it comes to bills. Well worth a quick pop into the store.

Where are you guys seeing this $20 of any $40 Serve purchase? I just want to be safe as I don’t want to waste a $40 purchase on Serve when I could be getting cashback/high points on another card. Thanks!

so if you pay with ISIS you can choose an Amex card to pay from and you’ll get both credits? I’ve only used my ISIS with Serve so I don’t know much about it.

For the credit you would have to make a $40 payment with your ISIS card. But if you have the targeted Amex offer you can pay the remainder of your bill with the Amex to qualify for the other deal.

Actually, this offer is for $20 back for $40 spend on ANY purchase. It’s just offered by Verizon Wireless for Verizon Wireless customers (i.e. only people with Verizon as their provider get this offer). I redeemed this at Harris Teeter.

You get the $20 credit off ANY $40 purchase using the Serve card- does not need to using the ISIS contactless payment feature and does not need to be spent at Verizon.
I just got the credit for using my Serve to spend $40 on Amazon.

Do you have to have $40 or more on your Serve card or does ISIS pull from a credit card you have on file to cover the rest?

As long as the money comes through Serve, you’re fine. But I always like to keep a small reserve on Serve to cover deals like this, or the everyday $1 back on all Serve | Isis purchases,
