There’s a promo code I found which is working on eBay to get $10 off any $25 purchase: CYBEREBAY. You can use this code to get $10 off anything on eBay, but the easiest way is to just purchase a $25 eBay gift card and lock the savings in.

I tried purchasing a $15 eBay gift card, but the system said that the purchase amount needs to be higher.
NOTE: The code will only work if your eBay and Paypal accounts are linked.
For some reason, eBay wasn’t letting me use the code because “it only works on a linked Paypal and eBay account”, despite the fact that my eBay and Paypal accounts are linked. I still need to experiment with it more. But others definitely mention having success with this code.
I can’t seem to find a direct link to this offer on eBay, so I have no way of knowing if it will be available all day. Could be it’s a promo code which wasn’t supposed to get released yet, and it was discovered by mistake.
I assume it can only be used once per eBay account.

It’s a targeted Paypal offer. If they haven’t already credited it to your “Wallet” or emailed it to you, the code won’t work.
Calling in about it isn’t likely to yield results either since they’ll trot out the classic targeted offer excuse about how the promo wasn’t meant for you. With call waiting times being what they are on Cyber Monday, it’s an almost surefire way of wasting about an hour. Then again, that was just my own experience.

Is there a work around for the ebay discount?
It took the right amount off of my total, but in the paypal payment section of the page on the right, there’s a note saying that the coupon is linked to another account and the amount next to my payment card was not reduced
That’s the exact same thing me and my wife see. Very odd message.
I successfully applied the $10 discount using the code. But later when I received the order details via email the $10 discount was not applied in my paypal charge.
Anyone else with the same experience?
