$25 eBay Gift Card for $23

The Offer

Direct Link

  • Paypal Digital Gifts on eBay is selling $25 eBay e-gift cards for $23, an 8% savings.

Unfortunately, there’s now a limit of 1 per buyer.

You can also go through Befrugal or Topcashback for an additional 1.5% cashback. (Hopefully, you’ll get cashback on an eBay e-gift card.)

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid until sometime on April 5, 2015.
  • “Limited quantity available”, so it may not actually be around until the end date.
  • Offer is now limited to one per buyer. [Originally, it was 2 per buyer, but they now lowered it to one per buyer.]
  • Delivery may take up to 24 hours.
  • Gift card may not be active for 2-4 hours after delivery.

Our Verdict

Obviously, there’s only $2 to be saved here, so it may not be worth the hassle. Personally, I had money locked up in an eBay gift card anyway, so I bought one and netted the $2.

Thanks for the news. I’ve not been able to purchase EBAY gift card from Paypal Digital Gifts for a month or so, but this time things expectedly worked.

I am having that same exactly issue. I purchased gift cards through them before with no hassle. But now it’s not taking my form of payment (credit card).

I tried applying e-gift card to my order but it wouldn’t go through. Keep getting the error that another SD-er posted:

We’re sorry, but we can’t send your payment right now
Return to merchant and try a different payment method

We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant’s website and try using a different payment method (if available).

I suspect that they’ve changed system so that it won’t allow me to buy an e-gift card with another e-gift. Does anyone have any other datapoints on this?
