The Offer
- Receive a $50 AirBnB coupon code when you complete your first busines stay using AirBnB. As far as I can tell, there is no real way for AirBnB to know if it’s a real business stay or not. You just need to link an e-mail that isn’t a free e-mail (e.g gmail won’t work).
The Fine Print
- The coupon code will be sent to the email address you use to log in to your Airbnb account
- The $50 coupon is valid for one year
- The coupon can only be used towards one reservation
- There are no restrictions on destination or travel dates
- Once applied, the coupon can’t be refunded, even if the reservation is canceled
Our Verdict
Pretty good deal if you ask me, just remember to use the coupon for a stay you know you’re not going to cancel and ideally something over $50 so you get the full value. If you don’t already have an Airbnb you can get $20 credit when a friend refers you (your friend will also earn $20 and another $80 if you decide to host), I’m sure you know a friend with Airbnb so I’ll ask you to refrain from posting your links in the comments so we can keep discussion to the deal post. You can also get $20 credit + 1,500 Virgin America miles for your first booking and an additional 20,000 miles if you host a minimum of five nights, existing customers also earn 1 point per $1 spent (if anybody knows about any other partnerships like this, let me know).
Guys,
I dont understand.
I book my 1st reservation a week back. And I already verified my working email.
I manage to change my 1st reservation checkbox to Business trip.
So what now? How do you guys get the $50 code?
I been waiting and waiting for any email notification from Airbnb but none.
You will get it on the first day of your booked reservation and can apply it to a future airbnb booking. It’ll be an email.
Yea, Waiting for the email but still havent received?
I been reading further more about it. Does it only apply if the company you work with register itself under Airbnb?
I think it only works for that?
Olivia, did you get the code yet?
Data Point: Received my $50 code as well. Updated my reservation for June 16 to a business trip and i received an email with the code on the day of reservation
Got mine as well.
I changed my reservation to business and received the $50 code the day of my reservation before I had even checked in.
Awesome!
Hi Kid, did you have your business email set up before you booked or did you add it and adjust your reservation after initially booking? Thanks
I added it and then adjusted the reservation. I made my initial reservation back in March.
Any idea how long it takes to get the coupon code? Not showing up for me yet.
Ahh, lack of reading comprehension…must book a stay first, then $50 off the next.
So when does the first stay need to be done by? Or is this just going to be an ongoing promo for a while?
Ongoing promo, don’t think it will end any time soon.
thanks for the tip. changed one of my existing itineraries in June to a business trip (because it is). we’ll see what happens!
How did you change one of your existing itineraries to a business trip?
ooops found the box. Hopefully it works
How were you able to change it? Not seeing the option.
To change to business, go to itinerary and check the business travel box below billing.
Will, what counts as a paid email address? @school name.edu or @(insert company name).com?
No idea what counts and what doesn’t, sorry. If you try something, let us know.
