Unfortunately you won’t be able to combine this with some of the other Amazon Prime day deals as it requires a coupon code, but you should be able to purchase an Amazon gift card with this code and then use another promotional code to make another purchase (can’t buy gift cards with gift cards). Remember if you use your Discover it card this quarter you’ll earn another 5% back which is doubled to 10% after twelve billing cycles if you’re registered for the Double cash promotion.
The TRYITNOW worked for me too using the Prime Now app (in Dallas).
Also, you seem to be able to order items through the app that are showing out of stock on the main web page. I just order a Kindle and Roomba for the $49 and $249.99 Lightning prices
“RMPRIMENOW” seems to have expired… I used it on Monday.
“TRYITNOW” doesn’t work with GC, but it does work with groceries.
And interestingly, I was able to use it again, even though it was intended to be used on first order with Amazon Now.
Just tried and, unless I messed it up, “Tryitnow” does not appear to work for a $50 amazon GC. Would have to actually buy something in this instance.
Confirm this too, couldn’t buy an Amzon GC with this promo code.
Do you guys have Amazon Prime Now? If not, maybe that’s the issue. Originally I thought it was for all prime holders but it’s only for prime now :(.
The coupon code expired
I live in a Prime Now city – had already downloaded the app this morning, logged in a couple of times, but haven’t bought anything. I assume that makes me a Prime Now customer. Trying to purchase using the codes through Amazon.com doesn’t work at all. There are gift cards available in Prime Now on the app, when I tried that, the $25 code said it was expired or no longer available, the $20 code “cannot be applied for this purchase”.
This is for Amazon Prime Now only. That’s great for the people who live in the seven cities where they offer this. Useless for the rest of us.
