Our Verdict
Pretty good deal for people that are targeted and have to regularly pay tolls (especially for their daily commute) $20 maximum ($200 in spend) is a bit weak, but can’t complain too much. Be sure to save the offer on each card using the multi-tab trick.

Hat tip to reader Dan C
I have a MA EZ-pass, and adding $50 to it has not triggeredthe offer I added to my card. The transaction has posted though.
Pretty weird that MA isn’t included although it’s using the same EZ Pass system as in NY. Am I missing something?
So if I add 200.00 one time charge to my account it would trigger the offer? Or they need to be actual charges from using the toll?
I think adding to your account will work. Just make a $1 test and see if it triggers the email/credit.
I use NJ E-ZPass but live in CT. NJ E-ZPass pre-bills a set amount $25 to CC and deducts tolls from those floated funds – so there should be no tie to either where the toll funds are used or where you live. So I am guessing it should work fine with NJ as a listed state. You can also do a one time variable load so thinking I’ll try out a small amount to verify it works and then load on enough tolls for 6-12 months.
This would be much more useful if it lasted through the holiday season, I guess you could prepay.
