Our Verdict
In the past MidFirst has offered a bonus as high as $200, so it might be worth waiting to see if a similar higher bonus comes back. If you’ve completed this bonus before or have any other information then please share it in the comments. I wouldn’t recommend this $100 bonus at the moment, because we aren’t sure whether it’s a hard or soft pull to open the account. You can also refer friends and get $25 per referral, up to a $150 maximum but they cannot get the $100 bonus so we wouldn’t recommend that.
That being said this bonus is pretty easy to get, this is how I’d go after it:
- Open a M Checking account and fund it with at least $1,000 to keep it fee free
- Make 10 check card purchase, read our tips on how to do this cheaply
- Open a perfomance savings account and fund it with at least $250 to keep it fee free
- Wait 90 days for my bonus to post
- Close both accounts and transfer all my funds out
