Bank of America: $100/$75/$50 Back for Spending $30 at AT&T [Targeted] – Moneymaker

The Offer

Some people are seeing an excellent Bank Amerideals offer on their Bank of America credit & debit cards.

  • Get $100 or $75 or $50 back when making two separate transactions with AT&T on wireless products or services of at least $15.00 by 6/13/2017

This deal comes up every few months; this is a new round being sent out. Typically, there are three versions of the offer:

  • Get $100 credit after making two $15 purchases
  • Get $75 credit after making two $15 purchases
  • Get $50 credit after making two $15 purchases

You can see a screenshot of a previous offer in this post.

The Fine Print

  • Offer expires 4/29/17 – I think this means you have to save the offer on your BofA account by 4/29 and use it by 6/13
  • Offer valid one time only (you can use it on any card in your online account, but once you use it on one card it can’t be used on another card in the same login)
  • Valid in-store or online at at&t.com or over the phone
  • Cash back is earned within 30 days after making the second transaction

Our Verdict

This deal is outstanding even if you no interest in anything at an AT&T store. Simply buy an accessory (charger, etc.) for $15 at an AT&T store or online at att.com, repeat a second time, and get the bonus. Net profit will be $70/$45/$20, plus some free accessories. From memory, some people have had problems with the credits showing up, but it usually works.

Just make sure that you got this products/services offer and not the one for a new line of service that I and many others are seeing.

Tips:

  • If you’re doing this in-store, be sure to make the purchases at a corporate store, not an Authorized Retailer.
  • If you’re doing this online, try buying a single item that costs $15 or more since AT&T sometimes splits up smaller items into separate charges.
  • It might be worth spacing out the two transactions on different days.
  • Someone mentions the idea of buying 2 x $25 refill card from an AT&T store (these cards work for prepaid plans only).
  • Or you can buy a $25 ATT gift card at the store. Not sure what these can be used on; probably phones or accessories, not on a phone plan.
  • A reader confirms that making $15 payments to your AT&T cellular bill or Uverse internet bill counts to trigger the credit.
  • Don’t forget to go through a portal if ordering online; Topcashback is currently the best at 10%.

Another interesting thing is that one Slickdealser mentions getting the same offer on their Regions Bank debit card. If anyone else can confirm this, let jus know. (If you can also send a screenshot to [email protected] that would be great, thanks.)

Got this for the third time! Each time was $75. Sweet. Too bad I don’t have AT&T anymore. I felt bad buying USB cables for 5 times their real value last time.

I got this in my BOA. I did the two purchases and the offer was “processing”. It has now disappeared for a couple of days and it’s not showing anywhere, not even under earned. Anybody knows if this is normal?

Took a few weeks, but even though the deal expired and vanished, i was credited 75 dollars a few days ago.

Received an email from B of A today w/ subj line “Cash back is coming soon.” Let me know that my offer was used and I’d receive my $50 cash back from the AT&T deal within 30 days.

Logged in to my account and saw it’s pending.

Nice, reassuring, email. Similar confirmation to when an AMEX offer is used, just not as fast.

How long ago did you make the purchases, Roberto? I bought mine on 3/21(posted on 3/23) and I’m still not seeing anything(the att offer disappeared after a few days).

Purchases were made on 3/22 and 3/23. Spread out over 2 days to lower chances of any snafus.

Did this all work out for you guys last year? I did this a few weeks ago on my card and my wife’s card. Mine showed up immediately and processed in a few days and my wife’s offer completely disappeared without a trace. Doesn’t even show up in expired.

I called BOA a few days ago and a rep said they were able to see the deal processing. He also said that it should show up in the ‘earned’ section in about 1 week.

I’ll wait and see.

Anyone try calling BOA on this missing credit?

After I made $15.09 and $15.04 in purchases, the deal disappeared a couple of days after the transaction posted. Does this mean anything?

The same thing has happened to me. I was wondering if something was wrong.

I made two $16 transactions as well. The AT&T deal was processing a for a few days. Today, it completely disappeared and can only be found in the “expired” section.

What gives?

It might show up sometime in April if their terms are correct.

I’ve noticed the same thing. After I made one purchase, it changed to “processing.” Then I made the second and now it is totally gone, and not under “Expired” either.

Anybody know if it’s possible to make a payment to someone else’s AT&T Wireless account (just providing their phone number)?

Hm, that sounds like a good plan. I have friends who have ATT.

From my experience, it’s better to separate purchases for different days. Did this offer twice: – bought cable & case on att.com
– replenished account of a friend on att.com.

First time cashback was tracked successfully, second time it required a call to BoA, because for some reason it wasn’t tracked properly.
