Our Verdict
You can get 30,000 miles + a $100 statement credit on the personal card. If you apply for multiple cards from Bank of America in the same day they will be combined into a single inquiry (business and personal can be mixed) so you should be able to apply for this and the personal card and get 60,000 miles + a $100 statement credit (you would need to pay $150 in annual fees though), you could also consider an app for the $200 cash rewards bonus as well.
I’m not a massive fan of the new card design for the business card, but who really cares? Before applying for this card or asking questions in the comments, I’d recommend you read about these 20 things everybody should know about Bank of America credit cards

What happens to miles when you cancel the card?
I recently applied for a business Alaska credit card, called the recon number and was asked to send in proof of business. Has anyone experienced this?
Yup, same with me. I guess I’m going to call them and send my information.
Can’t believe they rejected my application for this card. I only have 3 BoA personal cards ( 2 within last 6 months) and no business cards. Never had Alaska card before either.
Welcome back Will.
Are there any plans, or existing posts I haven’t found, that outlines the best use and value options for redemption of different CC points? I find myself navigating to other sites that have this but would love to see it on DoC.
Thanks, Lingua. No we don’t really have a lot of resources on the best uses of points. We do have some valuation posts that are sort of what you’re looking for:

I’d love to write more about redeeming points/miles but it’s something I really don’t enjoy at all.
Two questions:
1. Is BofA’s limit one card (Personal OR Business) in 90 days? Or can I apply for both (Personal AND business) in a single 90-day period?
I was approved for the Personal card several weeks ago. Wondering if I can (or should) wait until after 90 days to apply for the Business card.
2. If I choose to apply for a second Personal card after 90 days, do I have to close the first Personal card before applying? Or will I receive the second sign-up bonus even if the first card is still open?
Thank you kindly in advance.
1. Bofa doesn’t have any restrictions on when you can apply fora new card.
2. Yes you will receive the second sign up bonus even if the first is open, although things are getting more difficult with Alaska cards.
Question: can the companion fare be used everytime I take a flight on Alaska Airlines, or is it only usable once a year?
I’m no expert, but I don’t think AS has a lesser business card which you get for <5K. At least, I don't see anything about it in the T&C (unlike with their personal cards).
Just got approved for AS Biz with a CL of $3.5k. Does this mean I have the Platinum Plus Visa or Preferred Visa card? I asked the CSR, but she didn’t know. She said my sign up bonus was still 30k miles.
But the 5/24 is about new accounts, not inquiries?
Just to make absolutely sure, applying for this business card won’t show up as an inquiry on my credit report, right? I’m trying to get down below 5/24 by the New Year.
It will show up as an inquiry on your personal report but will not show as a new account opened.
Bofa business cards don’t show on your personal report: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/which-business-credit-cards-report/#Bank_of_America
