The Offer

• Open a new Bank of Sun Prairie checking account and receive a sign up bonus of $250 when you complete ONE of the following requirements with 45 days of account opening:
  • Receive a single direct deposit of $250 or more OR
  • Complete five or more signature based debit card transactions

The Fine Print

• $250 cash bonus will be deposited into the checking account within 60 days of account opening.
• Account must stay open for 60 days to be eligible for cash bonus.
• If the account becomes overdrawn then they have the right to deny the bonus
• Minimum opening deposit of $50 is required for all accounts
• Offer applies to new consumer checkng accounts that must be opened with new money not currently on deposit at Bank of Sun Prairie.
• Flyer must be presented at account opening to receive the bonus (I assume a print out of the linked flyer will work)
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

Their personal checking account does not have any monthly fees. There was also no mention of an early account termination fee in the fee schedule.

Our Verdict

Pretty great bonus as it’s a soft pull and no direct deposit required or monthly fees to worry about. Because of this we’ve added it our best bonus page.
