There was another flurry of American Express credit card news last week, it’s possible to get a 30,000 point bonus on the personal card. The Blue for Business card is also offering 2.3x everywhere and a bonus of up to 30,000 points. There was also something going on with the annual fee on the Business Platinum card and an upgrade offer of 50,000 points for that card.
The Chase Ink Plus is going away with the introduction of the Chase Ink Preferred. Citi are adding 5% /3%/2%/1% categories to their Sears card. We also took a look at the Total Rewards credit card, it’s much better than I originally expected. In addition to this we looked at all of the credit cards that Synchrony bank offer.
Any week we cover a Chase savings or checking bonus is a good week for checking account offers. We covered a new Chase savings bonus for $150, this will be more attractive to some than the $200 bonus due to the lower deposit requirements.
