Best Posts Last Week: American Express Changes & Bonuses, Awesome Bank Page & More

Last week was really all about American Express, they announced improvements to both the personal and business versions of their Platinum cards (5x points on airfare and 1.5x on purchases of $5,000+) and two cents per point flight redemption on the business card. They also increased the sign up bonuses on the business platinum card to 100,000 points, Hilton surpass to 100,000 points and no fee Hilton card to 75,000 points.

Plus they might be launching a new Hilton Diamond card and Hilton might be introducing Diamond+ status. You might also be targeted to earn 5k SPG points on the personal SPG card or a free night on the no annual fee Hilton card. City National Bank has a 40,000 point offer on their Visa signature card as well. USAA is introducing a new 2.5% cash back card and Wyndham made some sneaky negative changes to their earning rates.
