Best Posts Last Week: Three Increased Credit Card Bonuses, 250 Starbucks Stars & More

Chase has increased the sign up bonus to 60,000 points on all three of it’s Southwest cards, making it extremely easy to get a companion pass. Barclaycard has increased the sign up bonus on the Aviator card to 50,000 miles and American Express has increased the bonus on their Delta card to 60,000 miles + $100 statement credit.

In non sign up bonus news, American Express will be the exclusive issuer of Hilton cards from 2018 onwards. We discuss what this means for you here. There is also a current Citi Hilton offer for 40,000 points but without the 24 month language that might be worth considering. You can now product change your Discover it Miles card to a regular 5% rotating card as well.

We will be adding more bank account bonuses now that I’m back from vacation but last week the CIT Bank savings bonus was increased to $425 with a 1.15% Rate. Bank of  Colorado also added a $200 + $50 checking bonus for those in NM, NE, WY, CO.

If you need to book a hotel then booking.com is offering $40 off $80+ and JetSmarter is giving away private jet membership if you have elite status or 1,000,000 miles/points. eBay & Samsung Pay are also offering discounted gift cards worth a look. Last but not least yo can get 250 bonus stars from Starbucks (worth two free drinks) by loading $10 via Chase Pay.
