Our Verdict
Previously they offered the same bonus but only at one of their branches, now it looks like it’s available at all branches but probably worth calling the branch you’re planning on applying at first. If anybody signs up, let us know if it’s a hard/soft pull and if you can fund in branch. Until we know that we can’t really judge if it’s a good deal or not, because of that we haven’t added it to our list of the best checking sign up promos.
They now have a $100 with more details online about location.

Just opened this past Saturday. I was told there is no early close penalty. I do not believe it is a hard pull, but I think that you may have to use a real Direct Deposit because of something the banker said. When I asked how long after the DD it takes for the bonus to show up she said “within a couple of days. I review the accounts I open personally for them and add it once I see the DD come in”. I am not 100% sure this means other methods wont work, but it makes it feel less likely because someone is actually going in to review rather than it being automated.
Can you check your credit reports and confirm it’s only a soft pull for us? Thank you!
What branch did you go to? It says “select branches only” and on another website the Lafayette area was mentioned. We’d call ahead obviously, but might be in Indy and try and open one there.
