Our Verdict

This is a pretty regular sign up bonus that Chase offers, it seems to come and go. If you’re in the market for United miles and have a business, then this is a pretty good bet. Just bear in mind that this card does fall under the 5/24 rule, making many of us ineligible.

Before applying it’s worth reading these 24 things to know about Chase credit cards.

Just as a DP: AF hit, called to cancel. Was not offered no fee extension but was offered to transfer CL to other open Chase business card which I accepted. All in all call to cancel was less than 5 minutes. Since this is a business card, no reporting to credit bureaus (at least personal ones) on this one. So did not even try HUCA to keep it fee-free as there might be better opportunities with the new ones.

Can one apply for both Personal and Business cards version for This United card? Can it be done on same day or wait and apply?

Does this business card have extra award seats availability like the personal card does?

How many biz cards you can have with chase? I got 2 already. Though I have legitimate business, but it is sole proprietor.

You’re getting 60k mailers for MPE Business, not MPE Personal?

I get them myself, though I haven’t kept track of how often they come.

Is it $2000 spend or $3000? (text says one thing, graphic says the other).

Also, I thought business cards weren’t under 5/24? no?

MOST biz cards don’t get counted under the 5/24 rule once approved, however to get approved you need to be under 5/24.

It’s $3,000. The text is incorrect (though maybe it wasn’t at the time of the original post).

I understand that this card falls under the 5/24 rule, but if it shows under my login as “Selected for you based on your relationship with Chase”, does it mean that I am pre-approved, likely to circumvent that rule? Thanks

Why not if it’s in chase app? But I do doubt that there’s a pre approve for this card. I had all pre approve in chase branch, no biz ua card. Not sure about in app pre approve

There have been plenty of DPs of in-app and online website ‘green check mark’ pre-approvals not circumventing 5/24 for business cards.

If you want a Chase in-branch pre-approval on a business card, it might be a good idea to open a business checking account and make yourself a business customer. Sometimes there are bonuses for that.
