The Offer
- Citi are offering a 25% transfer bonus when you transfer your Citi ThankYou points to Virgin Atlantic. Normally when you transfer the minimum of 1,000 points you’d receive 1,000 Virgin Atlantic miles. If you transfer before April 6th, you’ll receive a 25% bonus meaning 1,000 points will net you 1,250 Virgin Atlantic miles.

Our Verdict
This is the second time Citi have offered this 25% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic, they have also offered the same 25% bonus to Virgin America & Etihad (and a 0.5 point bonus to Hilton). You can view a full list of previous Citi ThankYou transfer bonuses here. Virgin Atlantic charge pretty high fuel surcharges, so I don’t find a lot of value in this transfer bonus but everybody is different so some might find value in this option.
Read its possible to transfer VA points to hotel points like IHG and hilton.
If you transfer to IHG with a 25% promo. You can transfer 60k Ty points to IHG for 75,000 IHG points. Once you hit 75k points for spire status, IHG will add a 25k bonus making your total 100k
