$100 posted today. About 45 days after the DD hit.
What did you use?
I just did a few $1 payroll direct deposits then stopped them. Only payroll DD counts per CS.
Thanks
I had an account with Newtown Savings Bank a few years ago. Would I still be considered a new customer?
Paypal doesn’t count as ACH, per a chat with CS. It must be Payroll.
Just applied online. Appears to be a soft pull. Application is being reviewed and they’ll call me in 1-2 days.
Denied due to too many Chex inquiries. I have probably 20 in the last year and 10-12 in the past 6 months
Same here, just received denial letter today. 17 or so inquiries in past 6 months.
I checked credit karma and there was no hard pull!
Can you check your Experian report as well? https://www.doctorofcredit.com/whats-best-cheapest-way-monitor-credit/
No hard pull on Experian either!
These sites are up to date, correct? So if there was a hard pull, it would appear fairly quickly?
Yes, thanks Anthony!
No problem. Also, the $1000 initial deposit on my Chase SW Premier posted as a purchase. This is a great bank bonus! Super easy. I just got off the phone with CS and ANY electronic deposit will count as a DD. I’m going to try PayPal.
Thanks, let us know.
CC funding up to $1000 is allowed.
Thanks, did you open account? If so hard/soft pull? What credit cards did they accept?
I used my chase SW premier with a $1000 initial deposit.
I just called a local branch and they confirmed it’s a soft pull. How do I confirm soft vs hard pull on my credit report though? Do I have to pull it or is there an easier way to see?
I opened it yesterday and the $1000 is showing as pending in my SW card
Anthony, you can sign up for free credit monitoring: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/whats-best-cheapest-way-monitor-credit/. If you could confirm it’s a soft pull that would be awesome.
