Does anyone know how to find out how much of Ebay GCs one has used in the last 60 days? Previously you could download your activity report from paypal and sort using Ebay Gift Card and total the balance. Now that Ebay GCs are tied to Ebay account, is there a way to find this out?
I track all my purchases on a spreadsheet so going forward you might want to do that specialy if you’re spending 2k+ every 60 days. For now try to go to your “MY eBay” and look at your purchase history, I typically can tell which transactions I used a GC on or not. Add them up real quick and you’ll get an idea of how far back you started your transition towards 2k.
It appears that Ebay takes a partial from an Ebay gift card if you are close to the $2K 60 day limit. For example, if I have used $1965 in the past 60 days and owe $75 the system will take $35 from my $50 Ebay gc instead of telling me they can’t apply the card like in the past. Did anyone else notice this? This would seem to be a useful change.
ran into the same exact issue Eric. At first I was like what limit? I used only one GC but since it was an odd amount like $136.79 I figured the only thing that would make sense is I’ve hit the 2k/60 limit. So you’re not the only one bud, I share your pain!
It happened to me on the first attempt during 10% off offer.
However, when I tried to use it again on the next day it allowed me to purchase 3 Southwest cards.
Who knows what happened.
It’s possible that your Ebay gc bandwidth opened up the next day. Did you check that?

My last purchase of eBay gc from MPX was 8/11, so at most 4 days.
It’ll be back I assume, it’s been coming and going.
