Bumping this old thread… My annual fee should post next statement. Anyone have any tips on getting it waived? I spent my last ~2550 points on an Amazon gift card using Real Time Rewards. (Trick to get around the $50 redemption minimum.) It wasn’t worth it to me to save 3500 points for second year annual fee. Any chance I’ll get them to waive it?

DP: My promo points have posted, as well as the normal 20K. My Balance = 37,888. (I spent a little more than the required 2k spend)

Time to figure out where I want to travel to, get out a calculator, a slide rule, and maybe a magic 8 ball to figure out how I am going to get the most out of my points. I wish they didn’t do that crazy rounding system.

Ugh I left for a trip on the 22nd of September and didn’t get my card by then. So I couldn’t make a purchase by 9/30.

Just missed out on 12,300 Flexperks points….UGH.

Mine did. You’d have to wait until the statement period ends.

However, mine only got posted for the original 20K and not the Olympic bonus. Will check with CS in a week if I don’t see it by then.

Did you have any luck with Customer Service? I too only got the original 20,000, just posted yesterday.

I am wondering the same thing. Does anyone know how long it takes the olympic bonus to post? Thanks.

In the other related post someone mentioned they called in and were told to wait towards the end of November, after the 21st.

Applied/approved today for personal signature card. Didn’t freeze anything.
It’ll be tough to spend $2k in four months with everything else going on,
but I’ll manage it.

I applied for the U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature® Card and got rejected due to too many inquiries. I called recon line and they refused to approve it.
I mentioned to them that i currently have the U.S. Bank Cash+â„¢ Visa Signature card. They said that they can do “credit swap” and get me the FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature card but i will lose the Cash+ card (they will close it).
Will i still be able to get the signup bonus of 20k points + Olympic bonus if i spend the $2000 in the 90days?

They zeroed out the credit line on the the U.S. Bank Cash+™ Visa Signature card (basically closed it) and opened a new FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature® Card with the same credit line of the other card with different CC #.
