Getting Married, Having A Baby Or Moving House? Get Up To 20% Off Amazon

If you’re anything like me, then chances are you spend a lot of money on Amazon purchases. In addition to using a credit card that earns at a high rate on these purchases and using a portal (like Jetblue for 3x points) you can also get additional discounts during major milestones in your life. They are as follows:

The registry offers are found on the Amazon site directly and the moving bonus is found sometimes on the USPS moving website. Amazon are obviously targeting these times in people’s life’s as they usually represent big spending opportunities. You might as well take advantage of them to get a discount on Amazon.

If anybody else knows of other ways to get a discount on Amazon, please share it in the comments below.

there’s a great website called purse.io that allows you to “name your own discount”. I just used it to get 20% off a purchase at amazon. It requires having bitcoin (which you can buy for a 1% fee), but this is probably too scary/complicated for most people.

Someone else purchases your order with gift cards and sells it to you for bitcoin. What could possibly go wrong???

Did the moving one – I got 15% but had to use within 10 days. My wife got 10% but has 90 days to use. Must be random as we were moving to/from same address
