We’ve mentioned these before, but it’s never been this good. At the time of this writing there’s around 30 Macy’s e-gift cards of around $50 value each at 27% off. Add code SUPER3 for another 3% off (one time use). You’ll be getting Macy’s gift cards at 30% off. You’ll also get 2% back on you’re credit card, let’s assume. And you can go through the topcashback portal as well for another 1%.
You can sell these for 79.5% to giftcards.com (up to $250) or you can use ABC Gift Cards and get 75% (80% – 5% for electronic cards). Or use Cardcash/Walmart partnership for even better rates.
NOTE: There’s always risk of difficulty selling to one of the resellers.
For each $100 of gift cards that you buy, you could profit around $12. But these go fast.
If you’re a first time Raise user, you can use my referral link and get $5 off by entering code REWARDS5 at checkout. (The two coded probably won’t stack, but I’m not entirely positive.)
[UPDATE: Whew! Looks like that one sold out fast. There’s still a smaller opportunity of buying Dunkin Donuts gift cards at 18% off. I believe the 3% off code SUPER3 will work for this as well. And you can try going through topcashback and hope to get another 5% off. Giftcards.com is paying out 80.5% for Dunkin Donuts.]
Walmart gift card exchange shutdown.
Very interesting. I hadn’t known. I wonder if it’s temporary or permanent.
I don’t know what it is about giftcards but they just seem like a hassle from a MSing perspective. I wouldn’t touch these things unless I needed to meet a high spend within a very short period of time. Then I might consider it otherwise too many steps and too many things that could go wrong. Compare this to RB and how easy it is, and you can see there is no comparison.
Yeah, RB definitely wins there.
They’re re-adding these fairly regularly, been doing it since Tuesday or so when I first tweeted about this offer. If you don’t seem them then just refreshing your browser in a bit. Some people have reported trouble reselling to giftcards.com for some reason.
I bought a few yesterday. I figured I’d try giftcards.com. We’ll see what happens.
