Our Verdict

Nice deals here. The eBay is probably the biggest bargain for most. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a Giftcardmall order go through for me so I probably won’t even try.

You can try going through a shopping portal for an additional 1-2% cash back, but I don’t know if it works on the Kroger affiliated Giftcardmall page.

earth may have split open. I tried “once last time” to transact with gcm last week, and miracle of all (welcome) miracles, my case was escalated to someone who could actually see (and best of all) kindly inform me what the security hold up likely had been since last December. Turns out it had something to do with me once completing a transaction (as a mere “guest”) using one email address…. all subsequent attempts to set up a regular account via a different email were blocked….. (etc, etc., etc)

Bottom line is, the senior gcm rep for once didn’t hide behind verbiage saying they couldn’t tell me what the problem was “for security reasons.” (which so infuriated) This time, got an explanation and a resolution. Going very slow with this new “access.”

Perhaps this minor miracle account will give hope to others long shut out from gcm.
