Paper checks
We spoke about changes coming to GoBank, see GoBank Reappears.
When I logged into my GoBank account a few days ago, I saw this:
Apparently, GoBank is planning on adding an option of getting paper checks. They do mention that this is only for “eligible accounts”. I’m not sure exactly what that means.
Why I care
Honestly, this shouldn’t be too exciting; it should be easy to unload the $3k monthly GoBank limit via BillPay. The reason I care, is that I find the GoBank website to be extremely glitch-ridden. I don’t like trusting GoBank with too much money at a time because sometimes the BillPay doesn’t work for me.
Until 4-5 months ago, I managed through the GoBank system, albeit with a little difficulty. Then the BillPay completely stopped working for me. I tried various browsers, and I even downloaded the app (CSR said app may work) with no success. Just a month ago, it started working for me – most of the time. I still can’t add payees (usually), but I could pay existing payees. So I’m basically unloading the full $3k to my FIA Amex which is an existing payee in my GoBank account.
Anyway, I don’t trust the system too much, which is why I’d love paper checks as a backup.
Anyone else having trouble with GoBank BillPay?
