Over the last six months or so, I’ve had a number of readers tell me that their IP has been blocked and they cannot access the Doctor of Credit website. If this is you (some people can’t access it on the home PC, but it’s working fine on mobile/work) then I’d appreciate you letting me know the following:
- Your IP address (go here to find yours)
- The rough timeframe they tried to visit the site
- The exact error received – a screenshot would be helpful as well
- The URL requested
If you could send that information to [email protected] it would be greatly appreciated. It’s very annoying this issue is occurring and we don’t intentionally block any IP addresses.
My cable modem’s firewall was blocking you. No fix yet without just disabling firewall. Started about a week ago.
Odd, wonder why it was doing that.
I was having problems visiting DOC site from home wifi for the last 6 months. I was able to get access from mobile internet and work wifi. My cable modem’s firewall is set to “Low” by default. After seeing the above message, I turned the firewall “Off” and was able to get access now. I don’t like this and hope you have a fix soon.
Just wanted to please with you to please not block Tor and VPN users. I depend on one or both (depending on the device) to read the site every day. Thanks!
We don’t block either, we’re trying to fix the issue so everybody can see it without tor or VPN
One way of getting around the IP block for me is using VPN…. Are you sure you guys aren’t funded by AMEX? lol
I can’t see the comment box, so I’m posting this by supersonic proxy.
??
A half-awake attempt at humor.
But have you ever blocked anyone so far though?
We previously blocked a few bots that were just spamming the site causing loading issues for others, I assume our new web hosts does that in the background as well. We haven’t blocked anybody intentionally though.
I can’t access it from my aircard for some reason (both phone and laptop). Other than that, no issues
was it issued by Amex? Hahaha
Your website isn’t blocked in Manila…
Churn on.
I had this happen to me at giftcardmart today. They told me it was a web programming error. They have the solution. Great sight and they answer their phone!
