American Express currently has three transfer bonuses running:
- American Express Membership Rewards: 50% Transfer Bonus To Avios (250:300): Valid until October 10th, 2016
- American Express Membership Rewards: 25% Transfer Bonus To Alitalia (1000:1250)Â : Valid until October 31st, 2016
- American Express Membership Rewards: 50% Transfer Bonus To Plenti (500:750) – Get 1.5¢ Per Point: Valid until December 31st, 2016
As you can see te Avios 50% transfer bonus will be ending shortly. Normally you get only 200 Avios when you transfer 250 American Express rewards points, but during this promotion you get 300 instead. In October of last year they changed the transfer rate from 1:1 to 250:200, so the 50% bonus isn’t as good as it sounds when compared to historical bonuses. That being said, I can’t see American Express offering a larger bonus than this so I’d jump on it if you value Avios.
