Our Verdict
They sell in denominations of $200, so this should be a nice profitable deal if you use a card with a category bonus (most but not all stores code as a grocery store purchase. You can view the best credit cards for grocery stores here). Limit of one will be annoying, the only way to get around that is by having more than one account (e.g your partners).

Just an FYI for the Meijer crowd I saw $5 off a Miejer gift card purchase of $50 or more pop up in Mperks yesterday. Easy 10% off if you are a frequent shopper there.

just as a heads up, (and I think someone mentioned this before), but if you are doing this deal not as a M/S. If you have more than one account (i.e. spouse or “spouse” account 🙂 ), you can do the deal, and then turn around and pay for the second set of the gift cards with the first ones you bought.
I did this yesterday at my customer service desk and the lady was really nice about it. So purchase 100 (visa) + 50 (2×25 MasterCard) and spend 138 total, and then turn around and pay for the 2nd set with the gift cards you just bought, and you are only out of pocket 138 but you make 24$. This is a great deal!!
Looks like I’m going to get around the limit of one with a single account: I previously used each of these coupons and now see them back among those available to me.

No, I just meant that I used the deal the first time around, and since they popped up again I’m able to use them again and thus do it twice–just not at the same time. 😉
There are two stores I go to and they both have $500 variable M/C’s. One had the $500 variable Visa’s as well. If buying two M/C’s, I would load $499 each instead of $500 if you do it at the registers. These high value cards may only be seasonal.
Someone pointed out on the last post they saw $500 variable loads at their Meijer also saw some at a local Meijer, they were MasterCard.
