The Fine Print
- Limit of one incentive per member

Avoiding Fees
Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union has a free checking account with no monthly fees, you need to keep this account open for at least six months to avoid losing the sign up bonus.
Our Verdict

I emailed them on the website, and there is their response: “Yes, you can fund a new account with a VISA, Mastercard & Discover. Please visit our Become a Member link to start the process, or stop into any branch location” Not sure funding for how much though.
