The MyCoke Rewards program will end on March 22. They say there’ll be a new exciting way to get rewarded beginning on July 1, but they don’t give any details.
Soon, getting rewarded with your codes will be easier, more fun, and more convenient than ever before. Watch the video above to learn more.
Timeline:
- March 22 – last day to enter codes for points
- June 30 – Last day to use points
- July 1 – mycokerewards.com shuts down and redirects to coke.com
All unused points by June 30 will get donated to charity.
I’ve been using points to pick up 5 and 10 dollar gift cards to Walmart and Amazon, but have fouND the program much less attractive the last couple years.
I have probably 250 of these cardboard things stacked in a box I’ve been collected since the program started. All I cared about at the beginning was the $1 off coupons for more soda, but then those came and went and occasionally come back again and I just couldn’t be bothered. Then they restricted the number of codes you can enter in a day and I realized I could essentially buy a hat or some cup holder for my car. Big deal. They have been stacking up ever since. Like Kellogg’s old reward program, I won’t really miss it and now I’ll shut off their text messages.
BTW, stocking up on diet soda is a real no-no. The sweetener expires within three months and those expiration dates on the boxes do mean something. If you want unpleasant, try drinking a Diet Sprite six months past its expiry date. You’ll beg for a glass of quinine water instead. You’ll never stockpile what you can’t drink in three months again! 🙂
For the last 5 or so years I’ve been able to get enough free 12pk coupons every December to stock up on enough to last the whole year. Usually wait for Publix buy 2 get 2 free sale to do what I call “buy none get 4 free”. Just picked up nine 12pks on Saturday and I still have a few more coupons left. RIP MCR.

I’m embarrassed to say I’ve been entering these codes since 2006 when I was in high school! Kind of glad it’s over so I don’t feel compelled to keep entering codes.
Sounds like they will still be having some sort of rewards program.
