myFICO Score Watch Product Now On Cash Back Sites

I was doing some research updating our myFICO coupon page and noticed that a number of cash back portals have added the myFICO score watch product. Because the that promo page is one of the most visited pages on our site I thought I’d compile a list of the cash back portals that currently offer cash back on score watch.

It’s important to remember that there are a number of different ways to get your FICO score for free. There are also a number of different ways to monitor your credit for free as well. We’d recommend using a combination of these, as well as pulling your credit reports for free from the government supported website annualcreditreport.com.

Portals that offer cash back for myFICO.com trial’s:

  1. Shop at home: $5
  2. ExtraBux: $4
  3. FatWallet: $2.5
  4. Ebates: $2.5
  5. RebateBlast: $2.5
  6. Doctor of Credit: $0

[Read: How to cancel myFICO.com trial]

Out of that list I’ve personally only used FatWallet & Ebates before. I would be extremely hesitant to recommend ExtraBux based on bad reviews, there also doesn’t seem to be a lot of information about RebateBlast. I hadn’t heard about Shop At Home before, but based on various reviews it looks good as well (has the usual tracking issues that all cash back portals have).

We also have a referral link you can use, we don’t offer any cash back so I’d recommend going with one of the other sites instead. The links included for Ebates & FatWallet are all affiliate links as well so you’ll be supporting the site if you use those links as well. Keep in mind that score watch is $4.95 for the first month and then $14.95 per month after that, this is definitely not a money maker so don’t sign up for this unless you want/need your FICO score and aren’t able to get it from any of the free methods.

It’s important to remember that this isn’t a money making dealIf you’ve had experience with any of the above portals then please let us know in the comments. If you know of any other portals that offer cash back then let us know in the comments section.

From what we’ve seen while it’s important to know your score. It’s doubtful watching the fluctuation of each hard pull and new account hit can help you do anything about improving your score by knowing what it is. You can try to micromanage and over do it. Don’t pay for a merge EVER* unless you have some reason like buying a house taking on a mortgage, really wanting a capital one card/sarc. Equi doesn’t like people with lots of Exper inquires, so paying Equi to merge your scores is a mistake, IMHO.

You can choose your own timings and above all, you can choose how
much work you want to take up. Now that you have a set of questions
to work with, its time to start contacting companies and get a few estimates.
You don’t want to be inhaling dust or preparing food on dirty, contaminated surfaces.
