Our Verdict

You can read our full in depth review of Raise here. The standard referral bonus for raise is $5 off $25, so this is an extra $5 off but they have offered $10 off $15+ in the past. This is basically a 40% discount, plus whatever Raise is also offering. If you’re a seller on Raise, it might be worth listing some of the more popular gift cards in increments of $25 to take advantage of people having this promotion. Don’t forget to also use a shopping portal to get another 2% back.

Doesn’t work for me. First time user. Tried to buy $25 Amazon electronic gift card.

“Your promo code is invalid and has been removed from your order total. If you feel you have received this message in error, please contact our Member Support Team at (888) 578-8422 or via email to [email protected].”

So long story short, I had initially indeed been trying to buy cards that had too little value (as the card was $25 but the PURCHASE was $15). However, even when I tried to buy larger value cards, I still got the same message.

Finally, I called the Raise toll free number (using lucyphone to avoid being on hold). They couldn’t figure it out (I live in an apartment building so perhaps they were counting the whole building as one household?), but activated another promo code that took off $10.

I also “claimed a referral” (just Google Raise referral code – I couldn’t find DOC’s) which saved me an extra $5.

Overall, a lot of work to save $15 off $50 Amazon gift card 🙁

Worked for me but didn’t for my wife – maybe because of same address?

I think it’s IP address more than a physical address that you filled out the form

Did you actually get $10 off a $25 gift card, or did you need your total PURCHASE to be $25 (i.e., at least $35 gift card[s] – $10 off)? Thank you!!!

The total amount has to be over $25 not the gift card amount

Not seeing any uplift on my $25 listings. Sigh

What do you have listed for exactly 25?

I would try $35 listings as the minimum purchase price is $25 which means the smallest gift card that can be purchased with this code costs $35.

I bet you Amazon $35 gift cards would sell like hotcakes.
