was able to call in to amex and get the 100k for 10k offer, although the way they worded it sounded like the offer was already on my account, rather than a courtesy offer. Currently hold spg biz, spg personal, and bgr with amex.

Lyft is a smaller company and I agree that the Lyft coverage is much less. Lyft and Uber pricing are very similar in the same markets.
Would you agree?

After Uber used predatory dirty tricks against Lyft, I really did not want to use Uber anymore, but I did not had much of a choice in many situations. It was Yellow Cab or Uber. Sometimes it comes down to Yellow Cab price gauging (2-3 times Uber pricing) or Uber.

We still have Lyft as a good alternative that is scandal-free. Lyft has caused Uber to lower its pricing in many areas.

Honestly I don’t know how they could be called anything less than eff ups either, it seemed like they had the market cornered in a lot of regions and just kept shooting themselves in the feet

ah yes, the good ol’ family past-time of credit card churning goes back many generations back to the old country.

Any updates/word on how to still get the Ink Preferred 100k bonus. Was approved at the lower 80k bonus about 2 weeks ago. Felt comfortable based on reading others’ posts and from my own past experience with Chase. Have sent a few very polite SMs but have been completely stonewalled to date.
