Samsung Pay: Save 20% on Gift Cards – eBay, Gamestop, Toys R Us, Whole Foods, Gap & More

The Offer

There’s an offer going for USA Samsung Pay to get 20% off many popular gift card brands.

Screen Shot 2016-02-01 at 1.42.25 PM

  • eBay
  • Gamestop
  • Toys R Us
  • Whole Foods
  • Gap/Old Navy/Athleta
  • 1800-flowers
  • Express
  • Regal cinema
  • Bow Tie Cinemas
  • Legal Sea Foods
  • Buca di Beppo
  • Spafinder Wellness 365
  • California Pizza

Note that some brands have sold out, so if you’re interested it might be worth going for it sooner rather than later.

Limits

  • Seems to be a limit of 4 or 5 gift cards per day (all gift card brands combine to the total, I think)
  • If you have more than one Samsung device, you should be able to get the limit on each device
  • Expiration unknown
  • Seems like all the gift cards are $50 denominations, so you’ll max out at $200 for $160, or $250 for $200, depending if it limits you to four or five

Our Verdict

Looks like we need to have an iPhone and a Samsung to get in on all the deals.  🙂  If I had Samsung Pay, I’d probably buy up some eBay or Gamestop.

20% off on eBay gift cards is great; particularly, if you have 6% back in Bucks today and if you like any of the discounted gift cards currently on sale on eBay.

The clock does not reset till 24 hours from previous purchase. By now, discounted Ebay is gone.

Thank You Chuck.
The limit is 5 in total. I was able to do only 3 as two my Chase cards had fraud alerts activated after 2 purchases and payment was declined (once on 1 card and again on other card after 1 transaction, I tried again and again declined) and still it was counted towards the limit of 5. My wife purchased using her Amex card only and she was able to do full 5 transactions.
So advice to anyone doing this is to make sure their card issuer do not flag it due to multiple same amount transaction and if they are lucky, all 5 transaction can go through.

My Note 5 is paying for itself with such good Samsung Pay deals so far. 🙂

Unfortunately, devices which support Samsung pay are all newer generation devices and I never find cheap deals on them.

Hi,

No I did not apply for that offer. I did $50 Cash Credit and I received that. I was not available here when other deals propped up. But I have a friend who did $100 credit one besides $50 cash, she received both of them. They usually take 4 to 6 weeks to process I believe.

So I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 but when I enter Samsung Pay in the Google Play store there is no such app. It only shows me Android Pay. Am I missing something? I’m not that good in navigating tiny phone app stores as I prefer doing everything on the big screen… Thanks for any help 😉

Unfortunately, your phone is not compatible with Samsung Pay. You need to have one of the following Samsung devices: S6, S6 Active, S6 Edge, S6 edge+ or Note 5.

Thanks Octavio! Didn’t realize that this phone is already outdated. I just got it about half a year ago… But it’s a free company phone so I’m not complaining.
