Just a quick little note to let everybody know that the site is up and running again. Earlier today I wasn’t able to log in and you weren’t able to leave comments, this was an issue with WordPress and an automatic causing issues with our database. We’ve been able to repair the database and everything should be working the same as before again, the site will probably be quite slow as the cache will need to be rebuilt.
A few people have also told me that the site has been quite slow recently and there has even been some down time in peak times. I’m aware of this now and we’re doing two things to fix this:
- Building a new lightweight theme
- Upgrading our server
Hopefully this fixes those issues as this site continues to grow. If there are any other changes you’d like to see made in the mean time, please let me know in the comments below.
