Our Verdict

Virgin America/Alaska have been launching their own sales whenever Southwest holds one, meaning lower fares for everybody (yay competition). I like to post the Southwest sales as the award tickets are tied to the cash value of each ticket. JetBlue points are also tied to the cash cost of the flight, so sales are a good time to use your points.
