Southwest Announces Plans To Serve Turks & Caicos Starting Fourth Quarter 2017 & More

Southwest reported their first quarter results today and also announced plans to start operating flights to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos from Ft. Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport (FLL). They also announced the following:

  • Service to Grand Cayman with the opening of the new five-gate international concourse Ft. Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
  • In June consolidate their Ohio operations and launch service to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport
  • Earlier this week they launched service from San Diego International Airport (SAN) to San Jose del Cabo/Los Cabos, Mexico
  • New Sacramento service starting in August 2017

Good news for Southwest fans and those with Southwest companion passes.

Great news. Turks & Caicos was high on my list of destinations and I live in FLL.

Also in FLL, was upset that the international destinations weren’t direct from FLL, the past few months has changed everything. I’m excited for the terminal too!

If only they would add Aruba from FLL. As of now it’s out of Orlando.
