Our Verdict
They have a different offer every week, 30% back in points is the best I’ve seen normally it’s 15% and sometimes 20% and rarely 25%. You can do this both on Fount & SYWR for a total of $100 back in points. You no longer get this in addition to the points you’d normally earn as well, you get whatever would earn you the most points. They have a new offer every week so it’s easy to build up a points balance. Keep in mind Sears is in some financial trouble so I wouldn’t hold onto your points for too long. The Fount t&c are different than SYW. It looks like Fount is giving the 30% on many Raise.com and Amex Gift Cards whereas SYW specifically excludes all gift cards. I used SYW to double dip using Raise before Macy’s. I probably should have gone to Fount for the Raise dip. Can anyone verify Fount is paying 30% for most Raise and Amex GC?

I’m staying far away from Sears Shop Your Way points… I think the Sears ship is sinking fast and I don’t want to contribute to the CEO’s nefarious ways or risk not being able to return things or get my points.
VERY interesting that we no longer get the weekly bonus in addition to the standard % for a given merchant. Guessing they at last decided to enforce the previous verbiage to this effect. As per usual, the SYW promos are anything but models of clarity.
I long ago gave up on Fount. Any readers here actually get it to work?
I’m also having increasing difficulty getting transactions beginning off of syw everywhere to track too. If it’s going to track, you’ll get an indication within a day or two. If not, you’ll need screen shots. Recommend you insert language into future syw post promos urging readers to screenshot everything. (and then you have to wait ten business days…. so far, syw reps on the phone have been very helpful in making things right….. helps if you have screenshots! Without them, chaos! In any case, what a hassle…. worth it, but what a time waste.)
ps, to the shortsellers with the all too easy street.com swipes about Sears going bankrupt yesterday, could ya keep it down a bit? I’m too busy raking in free stuff.
Fount often doesn’t automatically credit for me, but they always do with a quick email. I keep a list of what I purchase and where and the date and which site I clicked through, and email if it doesn’t credit in 10 days.
Love the free stuff. Taking delivery of my Bosch dishwasher this week. Appliances for our entire kitchen reno are going to be well under a thousand out of pocket, all in. Then end of season Lands End swimsuits for next summer. Then the kids need sheets and comforters. Oh, and a new doormat…
