Our Verdict

Note your offer may have different categories, but the structure should be the same (e.g 5x/5% or 3x). The tiny limits of this card kind of suck, but I’d happily grab an easy 2,500 points at a grocery store if I was targeted.

When the offer mentions “earn upto 2,500 TY points” does it mean the spend on the card to trigger the maximum bonus is $500 or can you spend $2500 and receive 5x of the spend?

A couple of questions: does this work with Apple Pay? And if drugstores are on the list, should that work with, say, VGCs? 🙂

My Citi Dividend offer was for Hilton and car rentals. 😛 (Used to be my main card until I switched over to Chase–partly out of spite :D–so I rarely use it these days.)

Sounds to me the purpose of the deal is to encourage those don’t spend or spend little to start using the cards. That being said, we are already good so no need to be targeted. I max out my 10k limit on double cash each month so they don’t bother me with a little extra candy money.
