The Fine Print

  • Offer valid online only at dollarshaveclub.com.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date).

Our Verdict

Topcashback are also offering 12% cash back (our review, our referral link). E-mail is being triggered by the purchase of $10 eGiftcards and they are not excluded in the fine print (click here to purchase gift cards & scroll down). Basically means you can make $1.2 per card (or pay $8.8 for 1,000 points or 0.88¢ per point) plus get $10 in eGiftcards for free, doesn’t look like any exchanges buy/sell currently.

They sell other items rather than memberships so you can use your eGiftcards towards free items. In addition you can stack unlimited gift cards into a single order and anything over $10 qualifies for free shipping.

Reader JL points out double dipping might work (e.g purchase gift card through TCB for 12% cash back and then get another 15% cash back when you redeem the GC for a razor item). Not sure if that will work or not.

Can anyone confirm if and how long it took for Amex to credit the bonus MR points?

Anyone else buy a $10 GC and not have the AmEx offer trigger? I received no notification that I had used the offer and no 1,000 points. I have the offer on several other cards but don’t want to use it for GCs until I’m sure that it works!

Worked for me on gift card. Notifications don’t always come or are sometimes delayed.

Sweet! Got some extra goodies (razors) for free from Dollar Shave Club in addition to what I had via the AmEx credit.

To make things clear, I used three different emails on DSC – A, B, and C.

I used email A to buy gift cards and sent them to email B.

I then registered for an account using email C.

After a few days, I received a DSC email with a promo code for a free month to email A. I had already subscribed to a month and redeemed my credits using email C.

I went ahead and cancelled my subscription with DSC using email C. I then went ahead and bought a new subscription using email C, but using the promo code that DSC had sent to email A. It worked, and I received a month in addition to what I expected.

Wow, now this is a bit insane.

DSC sent me 2 more free first month codes.

Obviously, I accepted.

Now, for a $1 total, I have: 2 razor handles & 6 months of blades.

With these two additional codes, will have 4 razor handles & 8 months of blades.

All for $1.

Acorns, the roboinvesting app, also has had a certain amount of cashback directly invested into your account if you spend using your linked account for roundups. It’s under their section ‘Found Money.’

Hope this helps someone. DoC, maybe you can add it to the post.

ended up at 15/17 for wife & myself – bought all $10 GCs. For some reason 2 GCs aren’t working, but I think they are the ones I tested by “redeeming” on my phone – hopefully they work in the morning.

On one of three cards (BCE). Redeemed it! How do people get it on multiple cards?

Thanks DoC!

I have BCE and BCP. Was on both. AU has on BCE and BCP. Was on both.

Long ago I just set up 4 different accounts (one for each card) as this is much easier for me on mobile using 1Password than things like the multi tab trick which are more complex on mobile.

So you do have a different login for each card? I guess that would make sense if so.

Yes. But you can also use multiple tab trick if on desktop (and prob on mobile but never tried).
