Our Verdict
Basically 20x points per $1 spent if you spend exactly $1,000. We saw the same offer on ANA recently. Obviously a pretty good offer if you have plans to spend $1,000 there, but I’d guess that doesn’t apply to most people. Sign of American Express trying to really increase the amount of spend people are putting through their cards.
Hat tip to reader B
I have the same question as Jake (above). How likely is it that Amex would claw back the 20k MR points if an item is returned to Bottega Veneta?
LOL! Great comments in here
You know, I was just thinking I need a few $420 polo shirts. O.O
Do not forget a pair of flip-flops for $620:)
You could also buy $13 candles at $75 each to reach the $1,000 spending limit….The sweet smell of 20X MR points “may” become more bearable…
Great timing..,I was going to drop a few thou at BV this weekend.,,

I could use this, but not on mine or fiance’s card 🙁
If purchase made and the item then returned, will Amex clawback bonus points or just the points for purchase? Any data points on that? Thx.
