Our Verdict
I got this offer and some others did too, not sure if it’s highly targeted or available for many. Unfortunately, if you weren’t targeted, you probably won’t have luck activating the offer using the landing page. You can certainly try, but it seems that only clicking the activation link in the email is working; others get a message, “We’re sorry, only select PayPal customers are eligible for this offer.”
The $20 just came through for me. Not sure what they counted as the $1,000 purchases, but I’m take it 🙂
Got it as well. It appears the exclusions were not enforced, because the only items I bought were gift cards with gift card redemption.:)
Yay!
Is there a way to ascertain the enrollment? Whenever I click on the link in the email, the pop-up window contains no login info.
I don’t know of any way. I think the unique code in the URL from the email is identifying you.
What a pity spending egc dose not count…
Have there been any new hints about PayPal launching a 2%+ cash back card? https://www.doctorofcredit.com/paypal-considering-a-2-2-5-card-5-on-paypal-speculation/
I don’t know
I was targeted for this. Curious what they’re counting as gift cards for the exclusion. Just stuff from PPDG?
Yeah, I wonder if some gift card purchases will count, especially if purchased from random websites, not eBay.
