Our Verdict
Better to order this sooner rather than later; last time this deal came around, I don’t think supplies lasted long.
What’s especially exciting here is that there’s currently an Amex Offer most of us have saved to our cards which gives $10 off a $50 walmart.com purchase. Stacked together, it would be a whopping 28% off the Uber cards.
The problem here is maximizing: you’ll want to get as close to $50 on each Amex card as possible. Best case scenario would be to order one $50 and one $25 for $67.50, and pay just $57.50 for $75 which is still more than 23% off. Another option might be to order a $50 Uber for $45 + a $5 Walmart gift card as a filler to get you to $50.
A lot of people are getting their Walmart gift card orders cancelled. I think the cancellation are mostly for Walmart e-gift card purchases, hopefully these Uber one’s will go through.
If I’m not mistaken, shopping portals don’t work for gift card purchases on Walmart.com. I don’t know of any way to resell Uber gift cards, but they are good for actual use.
