The Fine Print
- For two completed stays between August 1, 2016 through October 31, 2016 (“Promotion Period”), HHonors members will receive 5,000 HHonors Bonus Points.
- This offer is valid for Hilton HHonors™ members who hold the Hilton HHonors™ Card from American Express or the Hilton HHonors™ Surpass® Card from American Express.
- Offer valid for stays during the Promotion Period at any hotel or resort in the Hilton Portfolio.
- Card Members must first register for the promotion at hhonors.com/Amex5k, then book and pay for two (2) completed stays using their Hilton HHonors™ Card from American Express, Hilton HHonors™ Surpass® Card from American Express or other Card from American Express at any hotel or resort in the Hilton Portfolio.
- Bonus Points do not count toward HHonors Elite tier qualification.
- Please allow four to six weeks from completion of your stays for Bonus Points to appear in your Hilton HHonors™ account.

Our Verdict
Not sure what other Hilton promotions are currently active and if they will stack or not, so might be better deals out there. This might also be somewhat targeted as it says the offer is non transferable, but often these things work for everybody. Also keep in mind the August 1st start date.

Somewhat related, my Amex Platinum had an offer for 3000 MR for spending $200 at a hotel within the Hilton portfolio
can this be for one night stays? I'm going to London and am staying 1 night at LHR Hilton, 3 nights at the Hilton Paddington, and another night at the LHR Hilton on the last night....
I'll get this at least once regardless, I wonder if I'll be able to get it twice with 2nd amex. Thanks for pointing it out.

Believe so, don't see how you'd charge an award stay to the card.
