  • Was this offer not applicable to gift cards for anyone else? I have this language:

    *Qualifying purchase excludes all items in the following categories: Classifieds, Business & Industrial, Real Estate, eBay Gift Cards (within the Gift Cards & Coupons category), Bullion (within the Coins & Paper category), and eBay Motors (including Parts & Accessories).

    Not surprised with the recent changes... but seems odd that I got it and no one else did?

  • I am unable to purchase 5 Kmart gift cards with an Ebay gift cards. I get the following message: Sorry, this payment option isn’t available. Here are your options:

    Contact PayPal customer service to resolve this issue.

    After contacting PayPal I was told this merchant does not accept this type of funding.

    • Just bought some eBay gift cards from PPDG and used them. Can confirm it is still working, even for recently purchased gift cards.

    • yes, it works for my two ebay accounts. I saw 3.5% discount ebay gift cards a few days ago but now less than 2% discount

  • $20 off any smartphone above $200 is still valid. You can stack them up. Better than last week's 6%.

  • Aw, I bought a hotels.com gift card yesterday. I had a new Ebay gift card that I obtained in September and wanted to see if Ebay was enforcing its rule that post-Aug. 23 gift cards couldn't be used to buy other gift cards. In my case, they allowed the purchase. But with a limit of one, I can't buy any more (I would with a compounded 29% discount today). Otherwise, there's not much. I suppose the best strategy is to wait until tomorrow (last day of the sale) and see if they add new discounted gift cards. Ebay always seems so random on their sales practices.

    • I didn't even have to wait a day -- I see they added discounted gift cards. Depending on your cashier, these can be flipped for other gift cards (even Visa and MC gift cards). You can even flip them back to ebay gift cards, if you think you can buy more gift cards with them until they pull the plug next month.

    • and they have a lot of negative feedback, saying charges are posting as cash advance. Also people have received gc's with zero balances so be careful.
