LOL I guess I am the lucky one that has to confirm some sort of edoc of closing., Be on the look out though you might have to too. Wayne

The edoc to close did arrive which is signed same day. The check also came too. Done and glad I got to slip through before they closed the oos door.

Finally got my $150 bonus after filing a complaint to BBB. It was said the promo code was not attached to my acount firstly. After showing the screenshot during the application, I was told transfer from Discover didn’t count as DD. Finally, I tried to contact BBB as some DPs have received the bonus using Discover transfer. I received two phone call this Monday and was told “the $150 will be placed into your account as a credit until the bonus is paid”. Thanks all!!

There is actually a $4 fee for the MyStyle checking account. It is waived with $1000 of DD each month or a $2500 account balance or 10 debit card purchases each month.

Has anyone done the AZ link who wasn’t from AZ? Didn’t see where it said it was for AZ only.

The AZ link isn’t expired, so I would remove the expired tag. Nice find. I just applied through the link also. It showed the promo code being applied automatically near the end of the application but who knows if it will actually work.

Ya I’ll just say I clicked the link when it was open, then got busy at work, then went to do it. I have a crummy web browser so the screenshots suck but they say the offer expires Halloween.

I hope it goes well for you. After your signed up. You might want to chat or email them confirming the code is applied and state you have a screenshot of the promotion and attach it. I’m curious if they will honor it given the application date surpassed the date the offer was pulled. I hope they do.

Applied Sunday and got two calls from them this morning. The CS was polite and asked a few questions: 1) we are based in UT, how would you qualify for membership (I live in CA)? Luckily I saw a previous post and said the three magic words ‘American Consumer Council’. 2)why would you apply for our product? I replied with an honest answer – their welcome bonus. Then she stopped and said that they had already pulled the promo off. She looked around and mentioned that around 11:30 am this morning, their marketing department told them that they might not honor the promo, yet no final decision has been made. She asked me if I would like to proceed, even though there is a chance that I won’t get the welcome bonus. I said yes – she went ahead and asked a few other questions regarding how I am going to use the account. Eventually I got to the point to sign the document, make a deposit, and open the account.

After opening my accounts in late September, I almost forgot the accounts since no bonus is promised, until today when I received a letter saying that my account is overdrawn. So I called in and the CS was polite as usual. I asked about the negative balance and was ready to close my accounts. Before I closed the accounts, I asked again for the possibility of the bonus. He went back and forth, eventually it was a no. I closed my accounts.

 William Charles the $150 is dead, and wasn’t supposed to be offered but somehow was. I chatted with a very nice agent and provided a screenshot of the offer and with the promotion code successfully added during the application process and this is there response:

Thanks for your patience. I just got off the phonewith my Marketing team and they were telling methat unfortunately that promotion wasn’t valid yetand accidently got pushed out. With that, being saidthough I am sending your account information overto my Marketing team for them to review as we areattempting to still accept those for people who didsee and sign up for that.

FWIW: will be using a real DD and verified I have alerts, online access and login from phone and PC, estatements and plan to follow-up after real DD posts..

Seems like all those screenshots Might pay off just gotta do some heavy lifting first.

I can’t share mine because it shares my SPI. Try stating to them what the offer code was and see if that works.

I talkes with CSR just now. She said the promotion was not added to my account. Then I showed the screenshots during the application. After talking to her manager, the promo code could be attached to my account. The $150 will not be deposited until I receive my first DD and first statement on my account. Will see what happened next month.

Nice, they must of added the promo to my account because a $25 push from Discover posted today and a minute ago the bonus posted. While the trial deposits posted prior to chat yesterday.

The alert I setup was for a 150 deposit. So that was kinda worked out.

Make sure you have the alerts setup and e statements. I suppose it should BC mine did the next couple days. If it doesn’t I would go to their support page and send an email follow up.

I say that because I chatted and sent an email follow up. As soon as I got an email stating the issue was resolved I received the bonus. The chat was a day earlier but I suspect the email was what got me the bonus but it’s hard to tell.
