Is this for single purchase or cumulative purchase, i.e. do I need to buy a single item more than $1,500 to get 5,000 UA miles or I can buy multiple goods at different times before the deadline? Thanks.

Multiple. All tracked purchases count.
Usually they have an option to see your progress tracker but this time at least for me I can’t see it on United shopping portal today (it was there yesterday).

Bummed that Apple watch series 4 is still excluded from all of these portals. Trying to be patient, but it’s not always easy.

Keep being patient, a perfect storm will arrive.

I’m not sure GC.com is worth it, though. With AA, if you bought three $500 cards for $1500, you could spend $1526.82 for activation fees and shipping, and then you have to liquidate the cards. This would net you 5526 miles for around $27. With United and same spend, you would get about 5750 miles. With Southwest, you could spend $1017.88 to get two cards and 3500 miles for a net $18. With Alaska, you could get around 1750 miles for around $10. I suppose you get the spend on the CCs, too, so add that (it will depend on the card). Compare this to several other options (which you may or may not have available to you), such as a Bank Direct checking account, getting 5000 AA miles each month for $12 and no work, or $400 spend at OD this last week for 2000 UR points and $1 cost if you have a Chase IP.

But the term says “exclude gift card”

Not quite sure on gc.com. Raise.com orders triggered bonus points fine for me.

Has anyone gotten GC.com purchases to track for this? My orders from last week still aren’t posted to any of the portals.

Also curious about this. Have GC purchases tracked for anyone?

I think any spend using plastiq should count? Worth spending $30 for 5000 points?

Elaborate? Plastiq is not linked to a portal. If you are buying GC’s then liquidating through Plastiq the fees would be higher correct?

Gift cards are prohibited, yet they support gc.com. It’s a head scratcher. I assume they will count for normal earn, but not the bonus.

giftcards prohibition are in terms for a very long time. Till now they didnt have the gc.com as a retailer. GC.COM only business is giftcards . So i hope , we will get the bonus .

Raise always worked to triger this. I assume gc.com will also. I thik the GC prohibition is similiar to th elanguage used on most retaimers that gift card purchases will not earn mileage.

I’ll be the DP we want to see. I’ll do an order tonight through United under my wife’s account as she has the downgraded MPE non AF version that will get the full 1% through the portal. Plan on using my SPG for a last bit of the 75k plat spend.

You wrote for each one “Spend must be completed by October 29th and November 18th, 2018.” Did you mean to say Spend must be completed between October 29th and November 18th, 2018?

Also with department stores. Just be sure to check the Chase UR shopping portal for any large purchases first. Better earning possibility lately at Macy’s & Neiman with 6X.

Might as well write only one article. It’s the same company running all four sites (They do Delta, too.), Cartera Commerce.
