Our Verdict

Approximately half price on the regular price. Tide pods are always popular and this is the cheapest price we’ve seen from Amazon, not sure if it regularly goes cheaper elsewhere.

  • Is it just me or does anyone else find tide pod not as effective as the liquid (even if more than recommended number of pods are used)?

  • I just bought this and can confirm that it is $12.13 plus tax. I've been meaning to try out PODS for a while now. I figured this is the perfect time to try it since it's about half off now with the coupon/subscribe and save. Thanks Doc.

    • I agree. This isnt even a great deal. And a lot of kids are poisoned by the pods as they think they are candy.

      Maybe start another site for this nickle and dime stuff.

      • Or maybe just have another site for cheapskates. I am looking to save at least $200 on any deal I see. I mean if you are that hard up where you are looking to save a couple of bucks to save on detergent you aren't going to be able to afford to travel even with free airfare and hotels.

        It doesnt make sense to mix these together.

        • So you assume that because people save a few dollars on detergent that people can't afford to travel with free airfare and hotels? My redemptions for free travel would say otherwise. You might be surprised how fast a few dollars here and there begins to add up quickly when you purchase a lot of stuff.

    • Maybe you should use the rss feeds for those specific categories, or just skip to posts you do find interesting. Nobody forces you to read this blog either, if you don't like the content go elsewhere.

        • I don't find this sort of feedback particularly helpful if I'm being honest. I think this deal is worth posting, that's why I posted it. Based on other comments, other readers agree. If you only want to see credit card posts, there is an option to just use that category's feed.

          This blog was originally just about credit scoring information. I'm sure you're glad that's no longer the case.

          • I would like to only see Credit Card and Bank Bonuses. Maybe if there was a way to combine them in a feed that would be great.

          • You can just add those specific categories into an RSS feed reader like feedly and it will work.

  • Deal is not dead. I just purchased tide for $12.13 + tax.

    1. Keep Docs website open and open up a new tab and navigate to Amazon.com.
    2. Login in to your amazon account first. Navigate to the tide pods and make sure you select the 96 count.
    3.Click the $3.95 coupon.
    4. Add the tide to your cart by clicking on "Schedule now" (Make sure you selected "subscribe and save" before you add to cart).
    5.You will go to the checkout screen (DO NOT MOVE FROM THIS SPOT).
    6. Go back to Docs website page and click on the "Clip 20% offer", a new "tab" window should have opened putting you back on Amazon's website.
    7.You'll notice you have 1 item in your cart. Click on the 1 item in your cart, it should take you to the screen showing the "20%" being clipped.
    8. Click proceed to checkout and you'll see that the price reduced to about $12 before tax or lower.
