I had 2 of this and it keep disconnected. I recently threw it after months of frustrating keeping reset and reconnect. Buying a pricier Kasa and never look back.
Officially dead
Could not get 3 of them to work and finally gave up. I wouldn't get it even if it's free.
Looks like these require a smart bridge to work with Alexa or Google. An extra $ 15
These are awful. Get a smart plug (like tplink kasa), not a smart bulb if you just need on/off.
Reference to the ridiculous reset process, which I had to do several times before just giving up on mine: https://youtu.be/1BB6wj6RyKo
Actually kinda decent price to use it as a "dumb" LED bulb, but I've had mine for less than 2 years and it has started flickering maybe once a week.
Man that reset process is just insane - someone should be drawn and quartered over that process.
Picked one :) colored one is available for $6.60 which also seems a good deal!

checkout how to control them locally in a robust way. Not sure if it still works after the lastest firmware/merge with another app. https://yyan.cf/blog/2020/control-c-by-ge-lights-via-home-assistant/
